Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (Phosphorylating)

An NAD-dependent glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase found in the cytosol of eucaryotes. It catalyses the dehydrogenation and phosphorylation of GLYCERALDEHYDE 3-PHOSPHATE to 3-phospho-D-glyceroyl phosphate, which is an important step in the GLYCOLYSIS pathway.
Also Known As:
GAPD (Phosphorylating); Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (NAD+) (Phosphorylating); Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenases (Phosphorylating); NAD-Dependent Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate Dehydrogenase; Phosphorylating Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase; Dehydrogenase, NAD-Dependent Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate; Dehydrogenase, Phosphorylating Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate; Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase, Phosphorylating; Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate Dehydrogenase, NAD-Dependent; NAD Dependent Glyceraldehyde 3 phosphate Dehydrogenase; Phosphorylating Glyceraldehyde 3 Phosphate Dehydrogenase
