01/01/1990 - "The importance of this study is the association that may exist between certain drugs and the development of angioimmunoblastic lymphadenopathy, which occurred in our patient with the use of diphenylhydantoin. "
11/01/1981 - "Angioimmunoblastic lymphadenopathy in a patient taking diphenylhydantoin."
03/01/1996 - "In this article, five cases of multiple myeloma and one of immunoblastic lymphadenopathy associated with diclonal gammopathy diagnosed after longterm phenytoin therapy are reviewed. "
10/01/1979 - "This concept is based on two different lines of experimental evidence: (1) results obtained with animal graft-versus-host reactions, in which immunoblastic lymphadenopathy, angiogenesis, dermatitis and multiple autoantibody formation are known to be induced by reactions of parental T lymphocytes toward genetically foreign structures of the major histocompatibility complex; (2) experiments pointing to an essential similarity in T-cell reactions toward genetically foreign major histocompatibility structures on the one hand and self-major histocompatibility structures that were rendered "foreign" by viruses or chemicals on the other hand; (3) recent findings in mice that demonstrate a T-cell-dependent lymphoproliferation after the administration of diphenylhydantoin."
11/01/1981 - "The premise that chronic antigenic stimulation may be involved in lymphoproliferative disorders was considered in a patient with angioimmunoblastic lymphadenopathy who had received diphenylhydantoin (DPH) for seizure. "
