11/01/1986 - "In subchronic studies, PB was administered in drinking water to 5-week-old male hamsters for periods of 8 or 16 weeks at dosage levels of 250, 500, or 1000 ppm. No significant change in the ratio of liver weight to body weight was observed at 8 weeks; however, at 16 weeks there was a dose-dependent increase in the ratio of liver weight to body weight and a significant decrease in body weight gain among animals that received PB at 1000 ppm.
