MAS063DP (Atopiclair) is a nonsteroidal, hydrolipidic cream that helps maintain a healthy epidermal barrier while providing symptomatic relief of pruritus; ingredients include glycyrrhetinic acid (GrA), vitis vinifera (grapevine) extract, shea nut butter (Vitellaria paradoxa) and telmestine; GrA 2%, the active metabolite in licorice root extract, shows antiinflammatory and antipruritic activity; effective monotherapy for mild to moderate atopic dermatitis in infants and children, in a multicenter, randomized, vehicle-controlled study 4/2007
