Related Diseases
1.
Contracture
06/01/1996 - "
Ca2+ flux studies on isolated rabbit sarcoplasmic reticulum fractions were measured spectrophotometrically by following the A710-790 of the Ca2+ indicator antipyrylazo III. Chlorocresol causes muscle contracture in MHS muscles at a concentration of 25-50 microM and potentiates the caffeine contracture response in human MHS muscles.

2.
Ehrlich Tumor Carcinoma
10/01/1985 - "
Using either method, arsenazo III or antipyrylazo III was internalized into Ehrlich Ascites tumor (EAT) cells at concentrations yielding measurable differential absorbance changes which correspond to changes in the intracellular Ca2+ concentration.

Body Weight (Weight, Body)
01/01/1989 - "
Rats (male; 200 +/- 20 g body weight) were injected with streptozotocin (65 mg/kg) and after 1-3 months, liver mitochondria were isolated and suspended in an isotonic medium supplemented with 3.0 microM rotenon, 5.0 mM succinate (the energy source), 50 microM Antipyrylazo III and CaCl2 (20-100 microM Ca2+).
